Our Education

Education is important to us. Ting came from a family who was very big into education; while Bear, he was an Army brat. However, things change and Bear (at the age of 38) decided it was time to earn his degree. He found that he qualified for a grant that pays for his tuition and instead of getting a BA in "General Studies", he shopped around for a school and landed on the IU School of Informatics at IUPUI. He is looking to earn his BS degree in "Human Computer Interaction" by 2006. He is even talking about getting a Master's degree.

Ting earned her BS from Purdue (no rivalry here) in Psychology. During her senior year, she applied and got an internship at a small pharmaceutical company here in Indianapolis. They liked her work so much, they eventually hired her. Is she working in Psychology? Not really, but she likes what she does (most of the time).
